"This is a WILD ride that not only contains a lot of crime action, but adds the spin of a police officer who is also a cowboy. In addition to defending against the bad guys, we get to see some of life on the ranch, including a trip to a rodeo. But not only that, two officers actually chase down a couple of bad guys while on horseback after their truck is disabled! The fact that it was written by a real life police officer AND cowboy brings real world experience and authenticity to this wild adventure. It's an excellent read, and a lot of fun!"
"If you want the real thing this is it. Written by a real cowboy, a real police officer (not a poseur in uniform) and a real warrior... This book portrays the honor of dedicated police officers striving for what is right, and true justice; not easy in an increasingly bureaucratic world. The writing in my humble opinion reminds me of Elmore Leonard with on the job experience, a very compelling combination. Both fast moving, and an action packed page turner you will not be disappointed ;it may be a cliche but, "hard to put down" applies here.
